Thursday at Emerald Farms
What a fabulous way to end the day! Winding through Southern Ohio suddenly around the bend is a farmstead that welcomes you in with landscaped areas, beautiful Ayrshires in the hills and hospitality that knows no end. The Fentons certainly had the farm in tip top shape from hanging baskets in the upper barn windows to the cows cleaned, fitted and looking tremendous. Dave Wallace, native Ohioan and current Executive Secretary of Brown Swiss conducted a linear appraisal workshop before folks enjoyed a fantastic meal. The Fenton family was also honored with the Distinguished Service Award. Following are some snapshots of the evening:
