Welcome to Oklahoma Ya'll

Today kicked off the National Guernsey Convention in Tulsa, OK! Guernsey breeders and enthusiast from around the country are arriving for this 6 day event in the "Sooner State"!

The day began with a drive to Oklahoma City, where the group toured the National Memorial Museum and Monument.

Over 1,000 origami cranes were sent to Oklahoma City from around the world to symbolize hope after this terrible tragedy.

A chain link fence still remains after it was put up after the tragedy in 1995. Today people from all over the world leave memorabilia and tokens for those lost.

The reflection pond falls between two walls with the times 9:01 and 9:03 etched on them. The reflection pond represents 9:02, the time of the explosion.

The next stop of the day was to the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum.

Wisconsin Guernsey Breeder, Duane Schuler found out what it would be like to spend some time in a jail cell in the Wild Wild West!

The Ripley Family from New York, with legendary cowboy, John Wayne.

The museum hosted a variety of exhibits. One of the favorites was a replica of a rodeo arena and the events that take place during a performance.
