National Brown Swiss Sale a huge success

Despite torrential downpours and power outages, the Modern Associates crew had a fantastic sale averaging $5,830 on the live lots. Lot #1 was the high-seller to the Mase Family for $18,700. Old Mill Starsky Love ET was consigned by Allen and Tammy Bassler of Florida. Lot #9 was consigned by Blessing Farms and Bob Osborn of Indiana and was second high-seller to Elite Dairy of New York for $17,300. The fancy young two-year-old, Dublin HIlls Shaeley ET, Lot #3, consigned by the Iagers of Maryland sold for $16,500 to Fairdale and Hills Valley. Fourth high-seller and the high-selling heifer of the day was Lot #66 a fancy September calf consigned by Main, Vail and Roebucks of New York and purchased for $15,200 by New View Swiss. Full sale coverage will be in the July issue of the Brown Swiss Bulletin.
